![]() I've searched and searched and cannot find a solution to this. it doesn't exist on a new install! There is a file called USBAUDIO.sys in the System32\Drivers directory, but if I try copying that to this location, I get another error about unsigned INF files! I installed a fresh Windows 10 VM to grab it and. I check my C:\Windows\INF\ to see the following: > Ĭmd: "C:\WINDOWS\system32\mmc.exe" "C:\WINDOWS\system32\compmgmt.msc" /sĭvi: Default installer: Enter 12:58:57.130ĭvi: When you select the icon, you receive the following message: Audio services not responding. The speaker icon on the task bar is marked with an X mark. In this scenario, the device can't be used, and the computer doesn't have sound. These are system devices after all drivers should be included with Windows. The downloaded device driver replaces the usbaudio2.sys driver. However none of my USB audio/video devices work and I cannot get them working. This name will be overwritten with a USB product string, if it's available. The driver will identify in device manager as 'USB Audio Class 2 Device'. The driver is named: usbaudio2.sys and the associated inf file is usbaudio2.inf. I download the network/wireless drivers and reinstall those they work fine. The driver is a WaveRT audio port class miniport. all gone! They've got the little yellow exclamation marks int he device manager. Then I notice none of my devices work! Networking, Bluetooth, USB Audio, USB Video. Anyway, came to my Computer today to find it rebooted. I've been searching all day and all I've found are a ton of totally unrelated Windows XP/8 posts. ![]() If you have any other Peachtree Audio integrated amp or DAC, these drivers are unnecessary and should NOT be installed.I'm not sure if it's related to KB3176493 as I can't find anything else relating.
