![]() ![]() Honestly, I think anyone who has struggled with finding a decent mineral sunscreen should give these a try. The tinted version would be my overall go-to but with the tint liking to transfer to my face masks…I find myself reaching for the non-tinted version just as often. Hopefully there will be some more winners in the bunch but for now I am happy to say I have found my new favorite sunscreen brand. I won’t throw out my other sunscreens just yet LOL…and will keep testing/reviewing mineral sunscreens from brands like Australian Gold, Elta MD, and Versed. CoTZ isn’t kidding with their “Vanishing Zinc Oxide” marketing. It totally masks any white cast and disappears into my skin. I think this particular tint is just a really, really good match to my skin tone. As for the Flawless Complexion Tinted Sunscreen…I could just layer and layer that stuff on. But still, the white cast is minimal compared to other products I have used. The Sensitive Non-Tinted Sunscreen does start to show its mineral roots after a few layers throughout the day (especially when exercising/sweating). “This is all I need for the rest of my life!” I thought LOL! Seriously…I was ready to grab every other SPF in my stash and give it all away. The very minimal white cast from the non-tinted version and the total lack of white cast from the tinted is something I have not experienced from a Zinc Oxide based product before. These sunscreens from CoTZ provide that for sure without being greasy (for me).īut aside from the application and feel…the white cast (or lack of) from these mineral sunscreens is really what sets them apart. Those that have kept up with my reviews (LOL) know that I really like that K-Beauty glow/near shiny look. But, this heaviness absorbs down within a couple of minutes with a “residue” that I don’t have an issue with. The brand name itself stands for Contains Only Titanium Zinc…a nod to the focus on physical SPF.īoth sunscreens have a rather thick/creamy texture that in turn applies a bit heavy as well. No dyes, fragrance, or essential oils are here which is nice to see (and a nice change from the potpourri bowl that is Supergoop!). ![]() Various silicones, preservatives, and texturizes make the list for both products.ĬoTZ focuses on mineral based sunscreens that are relatively “clean” and suitable for sensitive skin. ![]() The tinted version contains Mica and Iron Oxides for color but outside of that the formulations are nearly identical. So, I grabbed that along with their Sensitive Non-Tinted Sunscreen.īoth products are 100% mineral based sunscreens with 20% Zinc Oxide as the UV protector. The CoTZ Flawless Complexion Tinted Sunscreen came up a few times. I really dove into ‘Best Mineral Sunscreens For Dark Skin” videos/posts and ended up purchasing a number of recommendations. After striking out with a number of Supergoop! face sunscreens (more reviews coming soon)…I decided to incorporate a new brand into my routine in hopes to give my skin a chance to recover. ![]()
